How to get an advocate
An advocate will:
- make sure people listen to you
- help you understand your rights and choices
- help you decide what you want to happen next.
They will usually help you by meeting up with you but can also help by email and over the phone.
1: Tell us your name (or a name you would like to use)
2: Tell us how you would like us to contact you
This can be an email or a phone number. Whatever you feel ok with. We won’t share it with anyone. Click here for more info on your privacy when getting help from Maze.
3: Tell us something about what the problem is
We work at your speed, so it’s up to you what you say and how much. If you can, please tell us how you would like things to be different.
4: Click send
If we get your message between 9-5 Monday to Friday we will try able to get back to you very quickly (within 24 hours). If it’s an evening or weekend then it won’t be until our next working day.
